We're all about transformations at CrossFit 249.
Pretty much all of our members improve their confidence, learn to do things they never thought they could and meet friends they hang out with outside of the gym.
Vikki has done all of that and more.
When Vikki joined us in August 2022, she knew she needed a change but she wasn't sure if she was going to be able to do CrossFit.
As with all our members, she started off with our Fundamentals programme to show her the basics but also included some additional PT sessions in her membership so she could gain additional confidence around coming to classes.
Still, we noticed she would book into a class and then book out again fairly regularly (the benefit of being a small community is that we know our members inside out!)
We scheduled a chat and she said she would book out of a class if she felt there were too many people and she wasn't feeling confident enough.
We worked together to come up with a plan of action and saw Vikki's confidence skyrocket.
Around April, Vikki decided she wanted to accelerate her results by getting some coaching around her nutrition. She told me she would be a challenge because she's a 'fussy eater' 😄
Together we developed some solid habits, didn't cut out any foods, and not only has Vikki already lost 22lbs, she's undergone some massive body recomposition and gained a ton of strength, so we know she's built muscle at the same time.
From the unconfident person that walked in, unsure if she would even be able to do it, Vikki has become somebody who shows up 4-5 times a week, has made body composition changes, has a better understanding of food and actively pushes not only herself but everybody else in the class around her.
We couldn't be prouder of the effort she has consistently put in over the last year and things are only going up!
